Wish I'd Found Them Years Ago
When it was the end for our beloved dog, I knew I didn't want to take him to the vet. He was a big dog, and he stressed out so much at every vet's visit that it was traumatic for everyone involved. I just couldn't put him through that at the end. I called Gentle Touch and Dr. Christi was so kind and compassionate that I immediately made arrangements with her. She and Jill came and put our baby down with so much gentleness and kindness that it's hard to describe. They treated him with respect, and treated us with compassion. As bad as the memory of putting him to sleep is, it's alleviated somewhat by the fact that it happened at home, in familiar surroundings, with love and his 'people' at his side. He did not stress out at all. I only wish I'd known about their extraordinary service earlier so I could have avoided years of dreading the vet's office visits.
